Phyllanthus emblica, also known as Indian gooseberry, Amla etc. Phyllanthus is a deciduous tree. It has edible fruit. The taste of Indian emblic is sour, better,and astringent,and it is quite fibrous. Pratapgarh is one of the largest producers and suppliers of Indian gooseberry.
Uses
(1) The Amla,the friut is eaten raw
